it’s hard to believe that, just over a year ago, we opened the doors to our winter park bulla gastrobar location for the first time. settled in the lakeside crossing plaza just outside of orlando, the restaurant has been serving up traditional and innovative spanish tapas, paella, sangria and more to central florida residents since…

on the weekend of feb. 25 and 26, our team at bulla gastrobar winter park – with some help from our miami team members at bulla gastrobar coral gables and doral – had the privilege of serving our central florida neighbors at the downtown orlando food and wine festival. it was a beautiful weekend out by lake eola, where chef felix prepared and served 1,200 plates of our delicious paella, pintxo moruno and mini versions of our bulla burger to our neighbors, while famous artists including gavin degraw and kc and the sunshine band, performed in the background.
we’d like to say thank you to the city of orlando and the 30,000+ guests for welcoming bulla into the central florida community and giving us the opportunity to share our passion for spanish cuisine with you all. we hope to see you back at bulla soon!
when you mix bulla’s amazing “croquetas de langosta” together with the foodie social event of the year, it’s bound to be a win, win. on february 25th, more than 500 guests joined us at a stellar sobewff (the food network & cooking channel south beach wine & food festival) event hosted by jean-georges vongerichten.
the event took place at the palm court in the miami design district, with many of south florida’s eateries participating, including dos croquetas, sergio’s, ends meat eatery, palomilla grill, rebel house, estefan kitchen and miami smokers, to name a few.
host jean-georges’ “croquetas & champagne” event featured a variety of local chefs who dished out their tastiest takes on croquetas. it was hard to eat just one of these tempting tapas, especially when guests got a mouthful of bulla’s creation.
